The children in the Toddler Program range in age from approximately 18 to 30 months. The children in this classroom will be working on simple social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills through play and group activities. Our experienced Toddler teachers provide the introduction of circle time in which children have the opportunity to learn in a group setting. A Toddler circle time includes listening to a story, singing songs, and exploring topics related to the current theme. Toddlers are also exposed to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. A typical Toddler day consists of art and musical activities and structured play time.
Each day, all toddler parents will be provided with an individual informational sheet. This will inform parents of their child’s specific eating, napping, and diapering along with outlining their daily activities. Our facilities provide a breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Parents will also receive an individual progress note three times each year describing their child’s specific cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth and development.
